In discussions with teachers and students, the products available in stores in the Fox Valley area are limited to a few languages with a narrow variety. Resources are available online, but no website combines the resources in one site to meet the needs of world language learners. One Green Bay teacher stated, “Our German teacher travels to Germany once a year with an empty suitcase to bring back resources for her classroom.” We have the opportunity to fill this need.
International Bookworm’s market niche is world language resources for teachers, students, and parents to provide an attention grabbing environment for students of another language. International Bookworm sells books, games, movies, and music directly to teachers, students, and parents through the International Bookworm website. International Bookworm’s edge is providing what the customers need and want without having to travel the world to find it.
