Winning entries from UWM's first New Venture Business Plan Competition:
Orchard Street Press won the top prize of $7,500.
International Bookworm took the second place prize of $3,000. The company will provide world language resources by selling books, games, movies and music on its Web site. This plan was written by Sarah Cleveland, Heather Withington and Brian DuVall.
Fresh Start won the third place prize of $1,500. Fresh Start plans to offer nutritional, fresh, preservative-free meals for delivery. This plan was written by Christina Doyle, Kathy Brengosz, Jennifer Globig and Allen Uebele.
